This policy covers the Fovelio viewer and Fovelio Studio editor. The viewer practices are described first; the Studio-specific practices follow below.
Fovelio is designed to browse files you explicitly choose on your device. We do not provide an account, cloud library, advertising network, or image-upload service.
Media and folders
Fovelio accesses only folders and optional background-music files that you select. This access is used locally to browse media, compare images, and play slideshows. Security-scoped bookmarks let Fovelio reopen approved locations; they remain inside Fovelio’s local application data on your Mac.
On-device processing
Background removal and clarity optimization run locally on your Mac. Selected source files and exported results are not uploaded to Fovelio or a Fovelio-operated service.
Data collection
Fovelio does not collect, sell, or share your media, folder contents, slideshow choices, image review marks, or browsing activity. Any purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store.
Fovelio Studio: local editing
Fovelio Studio is a separate macOS image editor. Images, PSD/PSB compatibility reports, projects, recovery snapshots, preferences, and editing history are processed and stored on your Mac. The editor requires no account and has no advertising, analytics SDK, telemetry, or tracking. Local editing does not require a server.
Studio file access and retention
Studio accesses files you select through macOS file panels or authorize with security-scoped bookmarks. Saved documents remain where you store them. Recovery data and preferences stay in the app container until replaced, cleared in the app, or removed with that container. We do not hold a server-side copy of your editing files. Files can leave your Mac when you explicitly share them through a destination you choose.
Studio optional network requests
Opening the optional More page requests an app/service catalog from models.aiviel.app and icons from approved developer or Apple artwork hosts. App Store artwork lookup sends public app IDs and the device region to Apple. HTTPS requests expose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to their destination. They do not attach images, projects, prompts, local paths, account tokens, or purchase credentials. Catalog data is cached locally for offline fallback. The editor page itself cannot make external network requests.
Studio external cloud tools
App Store links and optional cloud tools open in your system browser. Before opening a cloud tool, Studio explains that prompts or media you actively submit on the website are uploaded and processed in the cloud. Studio never uploads editing files automatically. The external website's own privacy policy and terms apply. These optional services are not required for local editing.
